Gin Description

Marberg is a London Dry styled gin, brought into being with the marriage of glacial water, wild Icelandic botanicals, and fruits and spices from distant shores. With the first sip you’re transported to a black sand beach, feeling the harsh, north-atlantic wind on your face. By the end, you’re left with a lingering taste of freshness and an eagerness to take another sip.

Tasting Notes

Marberg’s flavour profile is a throwback to the classic London Dry Gin dating back to the 19th century. The botanicals we use are found in most London Dry gins, but the ratio of botanicals differ between brands. Marberg offers plenty of juniper and citrus in the nose, while other fruits and spices emerge as you take a sip. Classic botanicals such as coriander and angelica root are joined by a supporting cast of black pepper, orris root and grapefruit. It is made even more interesting with the addition of red seaweed, commonly known as Dulse, or Söl, which can be described as pleasantly salty with an umami-like taste, not to mention chockfull of proteins and vitamins.
